The link left out how much of a bribe we had to pay to get this statement.

UAE is one of the richest countries in the world so I hardly think they would need or want a bribe from us. But that's just me; I like to respond to sarcastic statements as if they were legitimate.

Three Arab nations call for Hussein to step down. Also about midway through the article there is a bit on groups of Arab nations and what they are calling for.

Well it appears the boys in the UAE actually have a pair of brass ones. Good for them. It's about time. Bribe or no bride, I don't give a rats arse, get the bastard Saddam out and let's bring an end to this entire load of crap.

All the Arab countries want to avoid war in Iraq. They care less on whether Saddam is in charge or not. So I am not surprise if one or more Arab countries called for him to step down.

On the other hand, I don't think Bush wants Saddam to step down by himself or someone overthrows him. His replacement might not be someone he has in mind. Bush wants to install his own man in Iraq.
