We've created very little from the left so far (Gozo's shross excepted). I don't understand why Gozo and Campbell never switch sides when the strategy is so cross-heavy.

 

Brilliant backheel assist by the #7 Maamma to #21 Zabiri on the doorstep. Considerable ball watching from the US defense. The video review correctly upholds the goal. Gotta tip your hat, that was a great assist.

 

I will say our side of the field appears to be in horrible shape. Constant slipping

 

Defender tried to block him with his body, weakly, which caused the collision.

this peruvian ref is calling the slightest contact on morrocco but lets morrocco grab raines by the neck on the goal....its inconsistent at best

 

Bad defending and poor goalkeeping and the USA is down 1-0
We could be leading but there are no USA players even in the box when the ball is crossed.
BTW: The USA just lost a challenge every bit as stupidly as Mexico lost theirs yesterday. That little shoulder tug type of foul has not been called even once in this tournament and the ref was no going to reverse himself, and admit a mistake, on such a questionable possible foul. That means that the USA only has one challenge left. I hope they do not need the lost one later like Mexico did yesterday.

Because the equipment manager chose the wrong studs and the fields seem very hard.

US needs to play faster. Morocco’s defense is too good to let them constantly settle in.

 

I think it's more Conmebol and Concacrap refs don't call fouls, and unfortunately we drew a Conmebol ref for this match. The second they said "Peruvian Ref" I knew we were ----ed.

I think you could have technically called it a foul before the goal.

But it would have been soft.

US Defense just needed to get back and defend and one side of the field didn't
