My gut tells me this could be a lopsided 3-0 victory against the Mexis, but then again Convey isn't there.
Any victory over any version of El Tri is worthy of celebration. May it happen tonight. FWIW, I hope Baumstark plays in goal.
Warning: Partial Score at half time ahead. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . USA 0 Mexico 1. Mexico is closser to a 2nd than the Yanks are to a tie. The Yanks have played the ball in 3 quarters of the field, but when it comes to penetrating the area they run out options. (at least in the 1st half)
There's a result in the thread title, no need for all the space. This is kind of surprising since the team has played so well the last couple of games. Where are you watching the game?
2nd Half (Min 20) USA 0 Mexico 2 The Yanks are playing 1 man down due to a red card. The Mexicans had to change formation due to injury.
thanks for keeping us updated... please keep posting updates. can't seem to find anything related to the game
For what I hear this is the usual USA Vs Mexico game. Both teams are playing hard (tackles and what not). with the US crowding its half and making Mexico fully responsible for the show.
What does this mean? Crowding it's half? You mean putting 10 men behind the ball and counterattacking? Also, how can this game not be over yet----did it not start at 7:30 eastern time?
According to Samuel Jacobo, the pitch is really bad and its getting worse. This is hurting both teams.

Right now they are just seating back and waiting for Mexico to make a mistake. Also, how can this game not be over yet----did it not start at 7:30 eastern time? It Started at 6:14 pm Pacific time
I'M IN MY BASEMENT WATCHING FOR HTML UPDATES POSTED BY A GUY LISTENING TO SPANISH RADIO IN SAN FRANCISCO - AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY!!!!!! other than that,i'm you know, a fanatic and all that.
Results like these make me wonder if we're ready for prime time yet--18-20 is still the biggest hole in our development set-up. Of course I didn't see the game, but Mexico hasn't exactly had that strong of an U20 team the past few years.
Re: Re: U20s vs. Mexican U20s(R)? No Convey=no final pass. We're weak defensively also IMHO, and an experienced midfielder like Convey can possibly help mask that.

This U-20 TRI has a few 1st division players and an actual coach behind it.
