Mexico and France have mandated that their men's teams start women's teams. Several, if not most, of the Mexicans on the field are professionals. Several, including their star, Haitians are professionals in France. None of the US players are professional.

Many of the CONCACAF teams also have NCAA players, which is where all our U20 players are.

They are catching up and passing us just like in the Men's game about 10 years ago when the NCAA no longer was a comparable path of development to pro set ups for 16-19 year olds. Much less 22 year olds.

Serious question...Is Borkowski a US citizen? I assume he's a permanent resident and he certainly lived in the US long enough to be a citizen.

Also, for what it's worth, the Haiti women's program is largely funded by the Clinton foundation.

No Sanchez. No idea if this is because of an injury or represents some slight. She wasn't the worst in qualifying although she wasn't at her best either.
At least they added a few more college kids. Recycled 1999 and 2000 from the failed u17 team is getting old. Really only a minority of 1998 are good enough.
I see summer green is back with the 23s. What exactly has she accomplished since scoring a ton of goals in concacaf against tomato cans?
