Suli Dainkeh and Romain Gall are going. Russell Canouse is going provided he's released by Hoffenheim. Julian Green is meeting with USYNT coaches on Wednesday, presumably to discuss attending this camp.

Paul Arriola was called up but might still be hurt. Ben Spencer was also called up.

Any word on Emmerson Hyndmann? any reason to think that Nick Gaitan could be in the picture

I have no problem with the players listed, but some very good players were left off the roster, such as Nic Gaitan, Willie Raygoza, Brian Iloski (of Nike "The Challenge" fame). Whether it's coach's decision(s) or injuries, we don't know.

Don't think Pfeffer is a forward I assume.

There are other '95s that could be here too like Jaime Villareal, Justin Dhillon, and Mark Verso. Hopefully it's a testament to our depth.

Beat Feyenoord 2-0. Will play the Netherlands tomorrow.

I think it's interesting that Russell Canouse isn't there. He was called in but Hoffenheim didn't release him. Not sure why a club wouldn't release a youth player for a YNT camp, especially, when it's so close to Germany.

Let me say, there is something going on here that is a reflection of the USSF standing among the foreign clubs. From my experience, the USSF are aware of all these youth yanks abroad and they do try to call in all the names that comes across this message board. If it is not a FIFA sanction date, it all comes down the club and federation relationship. Did Gyau and Wood return to their clubs injured? Maybe they are pissed about it. if Russell was a German National, you think Hoffenheim would not release him? I bet Klinnsman put in a good work to get Green's release. I'm going to be a half empty guy here and say the USSF does not have a good reputation among the clubs and if you don't have an active snake charmer like Rongen, you won't be getting too many EPL kids like Hyndman, Ariybu and Thompson

Over analyzing imo. I think all clubs want to release their players as little as possible. I mean SAF use to try and prevent full National call-ups...you gotta think clubs have alot more control over teenagers with no real leverage. Especially if half the time the US plays (not this time) it involves a day of round trip flights. Where Euro squads can take a bus half the time and the other have can be back and only miss 2-3 days of training. Not to mention the off chance they could get hit hard in the local press for not releasing local guys....where a local paper isn't gonna report a "club team holding back a national player" if its for some none local kid.

There are two reasons, he just started school the past week, and there are two Bundesliga Sud games during that period, also I heard do not know if is true or not, the protocol for the invitation was wrong.

According to this the score is Netherlands 1 - 0 USA currently, in the 40'.

And it has been updated to 1-2 with the USA scoring in the 34' and the 40' (Netherlands in the 8')

No need to overanalyze callups to the U18s.

With this squad it's usually a reflection of who's available...............................

Good experience and good results for the boys.

And it can never hurt to bring in some new guys & look at depth.
