U17s vs. Czech Republic, Nov. 11, 2025 (Pre-/PBP/Post-Match Thread)

I've gotten some heat for this, and this isn't to say that Berchimas hasn't done a solid job this tournament (better than Hall for sure), but I don't know if I agree with that at all.

My biggest issue with Berchimas at this point is that he struggles to get around players. Hall can do that. Whether he's shown that this tournament, a different debate, but he has athleticism to run by players that Berchimas unfortunately doesn't. If you could combine them into one player, that'd be a great player.

 

I saw Berch not having any problem either going down the line or cutting inside.
Let's see how these kids do tomorrow.

 

Plays with his head down way too much. Get's figured out very quickly and seems to have lost his step. Hall was annon all tournament, as a neutral if you were to watch every USA game and say who's the player on the field with 20+ first team games, Hall definitely wouldn't be the first.
