This is an unusual camp, looks like Hugo Perez is providing Tony Lepore a baseline for next year. There are some names that were not call back from last May camp and new names from academies. Still unsure why A.J Palazolo, teammates of Panchot at Scott Gallagher still can't get an invite, the kid was the starting CB for the Id2 tour of Spain, his strong play kept Juan Riley in the bench almost the entire tour. What is really alarming is how many guys belong to academy teams or pre-academy. Any chance that there are better players in places other than the North East, Cali and Texas; I count 28 players from those three areas

Anytime you take 36 out of thousands you won't have statistical balance. The important thing which I'm seeing more of is constant evaluation. This group isn't written in stone and they shouldn't be.
No one is written off at this age. Anyone not in this camp is still developing, being developed and being evaluated over years. We'll see hundreds of players from this age group in camps over the years and even then if not called into a national camp is still involved in top club/DA environments so when they do get to that talent point will still be scene, scouted, evaluated, recruited and signed as it should be.

To me this the most talented u14 that I can remember. Individually some of these 98's are better than the 97's and 96's.

Are there 98s that are better than the 97s or 96s? Perhaps, but I don't know upon what you are basing this statement. To me, your statement is just hyperbole. Be specific, or let's wait for these boys to advance through the process.

From what I saw on Wednesday and last week, these boys are certainly talented but played against a completely different level of competition. The U14s played non-Academy U16/U17 teams; the U17s (really U16s) played U18 Academy teams and a PDL team. They also looked a good two years younger than the 96s, with the exception of one very big and athletic 98 center back!

I've been watching all 3teams for the last 2years. This 98 group has 6 ,7 players that are more talented then both 96 and 97 players . Technically, tactically , mentally the 98 are better.

One of your main players was hurt to start the game. And the others were trying to leave their best impresion for the next u15. To much individual dribbling and did not play had a team, but still managed to beat a u16 academy Pats.

Big diffrence ,this team from last year u14. This u14 going to 15 is a world cup team in 2015. I also think that more than half will continue.
