Only 20 of the 150 scarves to be made are still available for purchase. At this point I believe I'll start shipping the scarves round about February 1st.
I just got mine! Didn't realize so few were left. Woohoo, got the scarf, now just need some game tickets.
The scarves were delivered today: I will start shipping them out tomorrow in the order in which I received payment for them. There are no scarves left available for purchase from this run. I am entertaining the idea of doing a second run of scarves... a smaller run (50) of a different design but will not make a decision on that until March. Cheers, Evan
Same - I havent been visiting the site as often as I should... but I suspect quite a few of my group of 15 going to Brazil will be interested. I promise to watch this thread more closely!
Evan, what's the minimum order # you need to do another run? I could probably come up with 15-20 buyers...
Found out today I didn't get tickets from FIFA on my 2nd attempt. Considering this along with the fact that I haven't been able to find a job after 8 months I have to face the reality that is I'm not going. Not sure if this will impact decision to do a 2nd run or not; still trying to ship first batch of scarves out.
It'll take a miracle at this point for me to end up in Brazil. That being said I'm looking to get a quote on the cost for 50 scarves of a design I've been tinkering with. Let me get that finished and I'll post it here for your thoughts.
Looks great. I'd definitely be in for one or two. Also, I noticed a typo. It should be "Belo Horizonte."
Great work, but I have to agree with Palermo. I really like having some Portuguese on it. Actually I really like elements of both scarves, maybe not have the one side with all the names from 1950 on it, but everything else works great. Invoking "The Heroes of Belo Horizonte" though is super cool. Please don't take any of this as criticism, whatever you come up with I'm cool with it, you do awesome work. I'd be proud to wear it in Brazil!
Thanks for the pick-up on the spelling error, not the first person to notice and thanks for the other suggestions as well. I'm not going to do a run of the first design because I promised that would be an exclusive run but I promise to come up with something special for the second and will try to incorporate your suggestions. Believe it or not they're very helpful.

Just a thought, but would people think of a 2014 WC design that featured 'United States' in Portuguese on one side, the other - a riff on John Paul Jones's quote - "We have not yet begun to fight!"
Revised concept: Thoughts? I changed the reverse with the 1950 player names and tweaked the front a bit.
