Wood does a good job at making diagonal runs to the corner. Pulisic has good speed. He's not going to get enveloped so much as a wide player as he would running into a couple center back. They can hold up, and lay back, or make a move. So if he goes with a 433, I think he does have outs, if he wants to bypass Bradley frequently. Of course, Bradley is our best player at delivering long balls, though. So it's a bit of a catch 22.

No, he can't stand Bradley, and thinks he's going to turn over the ball if he's breathed on. It's a running theme of his posts. It has some merit, as it happened a fair amount in Centenario and the lead-up. Although, I think he's over-exaggerating, and really hammering a narrative.

Pressure who? Panama would get ripped to shred with this lineup if we had Brooks and Yedlin in the back instead of Omar and Birnbaum. Ripped to shreds. I'm not afraid of Mexico at all. I respect them totally but I do not fear them especially after what Chile did to them. .

nagbe for kleftchin all day. everyone is impressed for 5minuts about how he circulates the ball (passes it back to the guy who just passed it to him) and makes incisive runs ( runs away from the ball) then they see him against a team that likes to pressure and he's all Shins.

Dont like FJ at LB, nor Cameron at rightback, dont like bradley at DM, dont like bedoya...pretty much don't like this team anymore. I will go away now and ponder this reversal.

Of course panama would get ripped to shreds so would costa rica and mexico, because we do so well against them.

be quiet. the US team doesn't do anything right in matches that count. this is just a nonsense match that we can win with an All-MLS lineup and Hope solo in goal.

Can't say that I disagree with this analysis ( I do like Bedoya); however JK has lowered my expectations that any improvement over Wondo, Beckerman, and Suzi makes me happy.

But Nagbe doesn't like Tuesdays. He only plays well on the 3rd Sat of each month.

I believe Jurgen may be switching Puli left-right mid game a lot. I don't mind.

It's undoubtedly a 433 with Puli wide and Jozy, Wood switching a little. Probably looking to see how they defend.

Unfortunately I think Morris comes in for Pulisic. Would have preferred a more dynamic Morris over either Wood or Jozy with Pulisic the 3rd forward. With Puli out for Morris there is a width problem again. Klinsi just loves doing that to us.

Honestly, plesantly surpised. I'd have dropped Sasha for Nagbe and Omar for Cam at CB and started Acosta at outside back (want to see him there vs better competition). But I can live with this lineup out of the players called in.
