I take it all back.
Now theres a goddamn lineup.
First time I've been happy with a lineup since Nam
Presumably this is the formation?
In theory, it could be a 3-5-2 with Johnson and Bedoya as wingbacks, especially since there's nothing on the line in tonight's match.
Cam and Birnbaum are most likely switched
Kljestan and Bradley actually started a qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago as the central midfield pairing 8 years ago.
With this lineup I'm betting 500 on us to cover 2 goals. I predict a 4-1 win.
What the ******** is this kind of lineup? This isn't Klinsmanm...
A Trollish Lineup.
I like it.
I guess Birnbaum will be playing RB, I thought for sure Orosco was brought for that. Pleasant surprise, UNLESS, JK Puts Cameron as a RB.
Please deliver guys or else we are doomed to being a bus terminal the rest of the cycle.
Just a mild surprise...WOW!!
Almost right, Cameron should s/b the LCB, I don't think Gonzalez has ever played the LCB for us.
That's what I was thinking. Nice mix of safe and new and who knows what else.
Good one, dukeyboy.
We better lock Jurgen up through 2022
Andddd theres the buzz kill.
Most unKlinsmann lineup ever. Rubin in at 60'? Can Morris get another chance?
Really would be shocked if we didn't see Zusi or Becks this game.
Anybody have a link to a stream of the game?
Probably had you in mind with his post.
Gotta give him credit for pivoting to Kljestan + Pulisic after what he saw.
Is that a diamond? If so, I don't know about that part. Pulisic would be playing deep, and don't know about Bradley's cover. Would have aligned them significantly differently, even with the same personnel. 433 with Wood wide, Pulisic opposite, Bedoya next to Kljestan. Hopefully it morphs throughout the game. Most important thing are it's a much better lineup than was being inkled and was expected. Worry about the width on the right side with Cameron and Bedoya. Could be a heavy left-sided team, they may figure that out, and shift their d over. Then we'd either need to realign or hit some really good long switches.
