    Well, we weren't too hot about giving Turkey all that money in the first place. But they gave us an assurance that if we came through with NATO defense and some money, then it would be a sure thing. I guess that's the reason this is a big story. Now, if you'll excuse me, i have to go destroy 1/100th of my Al Samouds.....

    I don't care now - the Turkish round of the WRC is over, and thus unable to be spoilt by Bush.

    it's pathetic that Turkey asked for the money up front. apparently they remember what happens to money bush promises for the future (afghanistan). sad state of affairs when the promise of the US president is meaningless.
