TDS is reporting that the u23's will have a camp in December followed by tour of South America with games against the u23 sides of Uruguay,Chile, and Argentina.More games may be added on the schedule. Any thoughts?
scary. We all love to think how good this U23 group can be. It contains our best and brightest stars, and if they go down to South America against som eVERY good competition and get thei asses beat....well I don't think that would be very fun. On the other hand if we go down there in give a good showing of ourselves, well then we'll know we're right. More than likely is absolutly nothing will be proven but its exhilarating to think of the possibilities. This has to be the most hyped youth tema we'ev EVER had including our last U17 squad.
Here's the link: http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/NationalTeams/20031029153238/view Says Donovan and Beasley will be counted on to make the camp and trip. I seem to remember reading Donovan say that he doesn't even want to look at a soccer ball for the month of December. Are our top players risking burn-out?
If Landon and his teammates don't get it together, he'll have a nice little break starting Sunday night.
Not sure how much of a break. It would just free him up to play on the 15th and the 19th against St. Kitt's or whatever their name is.
