    damn, nice midfield. the roster looks a little off balance without beasley and quaranta however. i know that they're injured but what about twellman? wtf? can you imagine a U23 team with twellman and donovan partnered up top?

    They are trying call up a team that is age-eligible for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament so that they can get some playing time together before then. Twellman will be too old for the Qualifying tournament(not necessarily for the Olympics). That's why the u23 team has not called him up.
