Didn’t realize that all I knew was he wasn’t playing previously. Good to hear though.

Schalke's senior team could use all the attacking ability they can get

Hopefully Taitague can make his debut by the end of this year

2-1 U-19’s with ten minutes left, not very familiar with the 17’s but Hernandez has looked good at times in the back, Reyna is fantastic. The GK and number 6 looked good to me, don’t know their names. Thought number 8 was athletic but very sloppy in the midfield, played a little better as the game went on. Overall unimpressed with the 17’s, but it’s only one game and I haven’t really seen them other than this.

    Guessing:
    - The GK who looks good is Las (pretty certain on that one)
    - The 6 that looks good is Atencio
    - The 8 that is athletic but sloppy is Gray

    Big thanks for the reports.

Tuesday's U20 lineup: Muse, Lindsey, Salas, Keita, Real, Servania, Amaya, Pomykal, Taitague, Akinola, Rennicks

Today's U19 lineup: Fowler, Watts, Araujo, Sands, Harriel, Zawadski, Ferri, Aaronson, Roberts, Mines, Lopez Terrazas

Not sure what the U17 lineup was but Pablo Soares apparently scored a tap-in goal.

Edit: I can't easily post proof of the other two, but I've attached the pre-match pic of the U19s.

Good to see Taitague making a statement. Surely helps his cause at Schalke. Maybe they and other German teams are watching and liking other players. There is a lot of talent here.

A good reminder that Taitague has Guamanian heritage.

I believe its a surname name from the Chamorro language spoken on Guam.

We have USMNTers of Native Hawaiian Heritage, Native American Heritage, etc...............but I do think that Taitague would be the first native Guamanian to suit up for the USMNT.

Aha...……...good one!!! He actually played for Guam, didn't he?

A few MNT caps, but nothing cap-tying, and then he moved on to Guam. (As one does!)

Hope he doesn't suffer this fate (from 2010).

"Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) is raising some eyebrows with a comment he made about the U.S. territory of Guam during a House Armed Services Committee hearing last Thursday.

In a discussion regarding a planned military buildup on the Pacific island, Johnson expressed some concerns about the plans to Adm. Robert Willard, head of the U.S. Pacific fleet.

"My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize," Johnson said. Willard paused and replied, "We don't anticipate that."

I'm pretty sure this is Pablo Soares' agent. He mentions a goal that was scored by Soares. I'm not sure if it was scored against the U19s or if it was another match.

I will suggest not Ramos (no control, lacks resources) nor Berhalter (too new, focused elsewhere).

Cordeiro is still fresh on the job. How much of the reigns does Flynn really hold in terms of the soccer decisions?

Don't forget that we have been through a massive amount of turnover during the last year+. There was also the priority of securing the 2026 bid. Two national team staffs, the federation president, and the entire player pool have all been turned over very recently, so it was a pretty huge task to get everything back to full capacity. More so than rushing to fill offices, I hope the right positions are filled with the right hires for the long term.

Cordeiro has been around a long time, and he's been President for almost a year. His attention has been elsewhere. I don't know how much power Flynn holds now, but for many years he was a very powerful figure.

Here's how Cordeiro sold himself to get elected:

I wish they'd filled the positions quickly but will be happier if they fill them wisely and without ABMOD types.

This was the final U17 lineup against the U19s. Las, Tolkin, Hernandez-Foster, Alejandre, Scally, Dietz (tallest guy in the back), Kayo, Busio, Reyna, Yow, Pepi.
