Just looked at the U-20 roster and noticed that Santino Quaranta is listed at 185 pounds and Cameron Knox is at 205. That''s pretty freaking impressive for 19-20 year olds.

How have they been doing lately? Any camp reports. I don't know jack about Knox.

Knox is a horse. He's about 6'3 (I don't know what he's listed at, that's my guess from seeing my son standing next to him) and he is VERY strong in the upper body.

I read that Knox scored during combine games on Monday. With his size, he could shake off many defenders. Anyone seen him play?

And is it Knox Cameron or Cameron Knox??

  6. Saw him up close & personal a year and a half ago. He's that big and then some.

Knox is probably the most overated player on the U-20's. This isn't just my opinion, ask some of the players on the squad and they'll say the same thing. He just does not belong in the same league as the other U-20 members. Don't get me wrong, he isn't bad...he's just not that good.

From what's been said, he lacks a true finisher's instinct and has inconsistent touch. I guess 'raw' would be the word to describe him.

I still think, as I've said for about 2 years, that when it's all said and done that Knox Cameron will end up as a a physically dominant defender.

I imagine he'll be converted as soon as he leaves college, a la Kelly Gray.

As far as his defensive capabilities I have no idea, but you are probably right because he does have the size and athletic ability to be a good defender.
