Awesome. The guy's a pretty nifty player. Hope the Burn can get him.

Don't hold your breath. I'm sure he will be "gifted" to the galaxy without notice:rolleyes:

Hey - we would be happy to have him in Dallas - or at least I would. God knows how we can get him.

As a discovery player or a special discovery player? Lottery, weighted lottery or Supplemental draft? Draft in reverse order? Who knows?

It would be a lot easier if it was just cap space and Senior International status?

Eddie Lewis is right footed now. Amazing how Euro experience can change your game.

    just some Tyson info...

I think he'd be a great signing, too, or at least one worth trying.

He just completed a dismal season with Pachuca in the MFL Apertura 2002, but that was an incredibly painful team to watch. Having been highly impressed at his performances with Honduras, I watched Pachuca whenever possible in the Apertura because I wanted to see him. It wasn't exactly pretty futbol and I'm sure he's delighted to be out of there.

Here are his Pachuca stats, en espanol (again, keep in mind that this was a terrible team):

Here's some info, en ingles, on another unfortuante spell for him - at Sunderland:

I think a player like Nunez would have a great impact on MLS. He's a threat each and every time he's in the box. He's a workhorse. He'll bring in Honduran fans and maybe make one or two out of the Gringos. The man wants to play in Dallas - DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO TO BRING HIM IN!!!

Don't forget Cerritos, who's apparently recovering well, and who was starting to score regularly for the Burn when he went down last September.

My guess would be that Rhine would be the odd man out and that it would be a real dogfight between Kreis, Nuñez, Cerritos, and Johnson. That dogfight would probably be the best pro development that Eddie Johnson could receive, rather than the "coddle EJ and give him a starting spot, no matter what" plan that a lot of BigSoccer regulars seem to favor.

Or maybe Jeffries could install a platoon system. Start two of them one week, start the other two next week. :)

Tyson can score on the US national team.
EJ can score during halftime at Burn games.

    Please do dish!

Has Eddie been whipping it out Beasley-style but more pleasingly on the Burn sidelines?
