Yes he has played every minute for the league leading Meralco Sparks this season impressing Dooley on defence leading to the callup to the Philippine national team training camp for the Asian Cup qualifier next week against Yemen. It remains to be seen whether he will get any playing time during the match, since this will be the first time he will be called up.

I read that Tyler Matas got injured( via facebook), so he probably won't be able to play for the national team tomorrow.

A few minor knocks means Tyler Matas won't be in action for the Azkals tomorrow but we are so proud of his selection for the national team. If all goes well he should be good to go for PFL action very soon!

The streak is alive. Tyler Matas plays another 90 minutes and continues as the only Spark to play every minute of all 19 games this season. That's 28.5 hours of football. Good job!
