I am just trying to figure out his eligibility for a UK Work Permit. He's played in 3/4 Concacaf Nation's League games this year He played in 4/6 Gold Cup games So in 2019 he played in 7/10 total competitive games for the USMNT. With the USMNT having 0 competitive/non-friendly games in 2018. I guess he's set. He's played in 70% of the USMNT's competitive games over the last 2 years.

Tailor-made for the Championship, IMO. Wednesday are sitting 6th with the last playoff spot. However, 3 points separate 6th and 11th. The Championship table is jammed packed. Hell, there is 7 points difference between 3rd and 11th. I don't know Wednesday's situation on the wings but hopefully, whatever it is, Boyd can give them an upgrade and help them push for the playoffs.

Don't work so hard, check the tracking thread. This would be an interesting move if it happens, but it seems so out of nowhere that it's hard for me to put much stock into.
Anyone actually watching? It's ending in heartbreak for Beşiktaş. The second division team beats them in the Cup with a last minute penalty (fair). They were 1-1 when Tyler came in, went down 2-1 and tied again 2-2 (Boyd not involved). Tyler was ok, didn't see much action on his side. Beşiktaş played with their A-team, so this is a bad result (Ruiz being an exception, just back from long injury; and Uysal started due to injury concerns). My honest opinion about Boyd: I doubt a Championship club chasing promotion has any use for him. Sorry.
Losing to a second division team is classic 2019-20 Besiktas. Fortunately for them, they have a second leg to overturn the deficit.
I don't believe it does. I remember a Canadian poster here years ago saying it didn't help their players at all.
A fringe player who can't seize a starting place at one of the worst Besiktas teams in a generation is a competitive/attractive proposition for a promotion-chasing Championship side? Said player will probably have WP hoops to jump through? Not buying it, sorry. Sunderland I could believe, but not Sheffield Wednesday.
Big move up for Tyler. If he gets playing time, even bigger. Hopefully will see him in March friendlies.
