Yeah, bummer but he's a good candidate to come into the game. Lot of situations where he'd be a logical choice.

Lame.... but if you can't stay healthy it is hard to gain the trust of the manager. I think he really only got one or two opportunities to play CDM when he returned... and now it seems like the coach favors Sabizter at that position along side Laimer. Such a shame... his career was on the serious upswing before injuries derailed it. He is going to have to fight now just to get any minutes at all.... I could easily see the subs being Forsberg, Poulsen and Lookman. I am bitter and spiteful over this... if he doesn't get any meaningful minutes today then I hope they lose even though it would be mean less CL opportunities down the line.

I can't express this more bluntly: relax. You're overreacting.

1-0 to Leipzig on an early Sabitzer goal.

Dude... Are you the forum police or something? I was obviously overdoing it w/ respect to my last sentence... that was why I prefaced it with being bitter and spiteful.

This one is for you.... Sabizter scores... great. Now we will never see Adams on the pitch. Season over for him.

i think people were just hoping they would get to watch adams start today but are not surprised after injury that he isnt but still disappointed that they dont get to watch him?

We have enough Chicken Littles. Reading more of it, especially when it isn't justified, is annoying.

So is your boomer-like constant use of ellipses instead of normal sentence structure.

    Jesus Christ...

He literally just came back from injury. Isn't this exactly the same protocol the manager implemented earlier this year when he returned? It's silly to post hyperbolic reactions. Wish people would learn to keep their crazy to themselves.

    Sabitzer running riot.

3-0 on aggregate with 70 minutes to go.

I have no idea what position he’s playing. He started out at RB, then he’s casually drifted to a defensive mid, and at one point was playing up front.

Career back on track I guess.

Unlike Weah, Lederman, or Amon, Adams has/had thousands of professional minutes before his injury issues. That, plus his obvious talent, will ensure that he's going to get more opportunities to get back into the flow of things than many other players.

Libero = free player. Usually applied to CBs who move back-and-forth a lot, like a sweeper who can also get into midfield in attack phase.

With a wingback (like Tyler), I mean (in animus iocandi) that he's been left free to roam all over the right side of the pitch, so he's been found at CM, RWB, & AM positions.

He forced the error that caused Leipzig's third. Rusty, but not bad.

His direct competition scored all three goals tonight... but the fact that he was the 1st sub in is a very positive sign. His talent is undeniable and I too firmly believe he will regain a starting slot in time IF he can stay healthy.

The season has been a huge disappointment with injuries but a huge positive in terms of Tyler’s place in the team. He was playing well last season but it’s still very impressive that this year he’s been straight into the team (often as a starter) as soon as he’s been fit, particularly when he’s had limited time to work with Nagelsmann.
