Nightmare for Tyler and Jesse if they can't scrape a couple back. Nightmare.

This may be the end of the road for Jesse.

Did anyone see the game? Good, bad, ugly? I unfortunately did not. He was listed as a right winger type position in Kicker and he was only mentioned twice in the play-by-play text updates. He did go 90.

I didn't see it either, but this is what Brian Shredder said:

If we want full disclosure, it has to be noted the goals came right after Leipzig had 3 subs.

Paulson wasted millions chances to score. Only after Silver came in, they were able to put eggs in the net.

Shifted after formation change and 3 subs. Moving Adams was an ingredient for sure but not the entire cause by any means

In regards to Champions league they were never making it out of the group to begin with...

I honestly didn't think he was ready for the step up. I hope he can turn it around. He probably needs to get back to the game he knows and forget about trying to please everybody.

Losing both Konate and Upamecano at one go was rough. He'll get some leeway there. However, I think the quality of the newbs forward is supposedly better than the ones they had last year so.......

Yeah, Adams played better and RBL played better after the move, but the chicken/egg relationship isn't totally clear. RBL was busy subbing on Andre Silve, Ilaix, and Laimer, while Bochum was Bochum's five subs included three guys I don't think I've ever seen play ... relative depth was an issue.

It was supposed to be, but Silva’s pressing is not (yet?) up to snuff. They started playing better when Poulsen went back into the starting lineup.

if silva were scoring for fun the system mismatch wouldnt be as obvious, but i cant agree more about how much better than have looked with poulsen

The coach has an anti-American bias it seems…

With Marsch Tyler Adams will probably be rested after international breaks. Because he now has a coach that actually pays attention to what the USMNT does during international breaks.

They got a 1-1 draw off a PK. Without seeing the game, that doesn’t inspire confidence.

Freiburg were playing for the first time in their brand new stadium. Freiburg had more of the match, especially in the second half and could’ve won. But a great save and then the post saved Leipzig.

I have not heard about any injury. He wasn't in the squad after coming back from the last window either... although transfermarkt had it down as a muscular problem. I was not surprised to see him left off the squad last weekend at all. I assumed he would be rested for today... <fingers-crossed>

He's starting today against Messi. I'm a little confused where he's lined up though. Edit - Fotmob moved him from AM to CM which makes more sense.

Looks like CM in a 3-5-2
