as someone who has watched a lot of salzburg matches i can say that if i were taking one guy with me i would pick adeyemi. kid is improving by leaps and bounds and looks to have unreal upside while still quite a bit younger than aaronson
hes been robbed of 4 or 5 assists over last few matches. he has all the physical tools and can hit pinpoint passes at full speed
Yeah, that's my hope as well. Instead of RB Leipzig, we could call the R(W&)B Leipzig if they get a bunch of yanks coming up.
Leipzig will lose Upamecano and Konate and will likely lose Sabitzer, but Szoboszlai and Laimer should be back from the injury list. I think next season will be a huge opportunity for Adams.
this is pretty cool. i'm a big fan of Marsch from his Fire days. He'll have a big challenge ahead of him which is exciting. He has a great work ethic and is a fine leader and motivator. Hope he has the tactical chops to succeed in the BL!
Hopefully Tyler will get the start today in the cup semi-final and we’ll see some yank on yank action. Game is on ESPN 2:30 pm EST.
Marsch sould know who is ready and who needs more seasoning. Having worked as an assistant at RBL and head coach at RBS that is a real advantage. So if Aaronson isn't picked to move this summer it means he needs more time.
I don't know if RBS has ever moved a player they valued that quickly after their arrival. Even Haaland stayed a full year before leaving, and he seems like an outlier case from the RBS transfers I've seen.

If he was going to do that, I'd think he'd be starting Tyler over Kampl and Sabitzer almost all of the time.
For Nagelsmann, it's always been Kampl or Adams (if he's considering Adams for a midfield spot). But for Rangnick, it was different. Ralf Rangnick would start Tyler Adams with Kevin Kampl together in midfield. They didn't do it too often because Kampl was injured at the beginning of 2019, but when he came back, they started the rest of the remaining matches in which they were both available that season, including the DFB Pokal final. Laimer and Sabitzer also got a ton of playing time, but usually out wide or further forward. Early 2019, of course, was when Tyler Adams joined RB Leipzig and immediately jumped out to a fantastic start. The reason why I mention this is that Jesse Marsch is specifically seen as a Rangnick disciple.
Yup I’m hoping part of the reason Adams hasn’t consistently played as big of a role even when playing CDM is the difference in play style.
Jesse's style fits Adams much better as a CDM, but playing these other roles for Nagelsmann has made him a better player IMO. If that makes sense. Ragnick played Adams in a double pivot with Demme most of the time, with Kampl or Laimer advanced and Sabitzer on the wing or as a supporting striker/CAM kinda role. And it was fast break football and fun to watch. Marsch runs the same kinda thing and I would expect to see the Adams as RB/RWB tinkering end, but that doesn't means it wasn't helpful to him as a player.
This looks awesome. (Also ill-advised and dangerous) Tyler #Adams hebt ab! 🛩️Tyler hat sich mit den #FlyingBulls den ultimativen Adrenalin-Kick gegeben. Probably a member of the Flying Bulls. They're a famous group that tours doing aerobatics and competing in races and stuff. I saw them a few years ago at an air show in France. I think they are from Czechia, so it's close to Leipzig, but Red Bull may sponsor other teams so I could be wrong.
Out for the weekend: Both Tyler Adams and Christopher Nkunku are out for Leipzig‘s Saturday match in Dortmund with back injuries. It’s now a race against time to get the pair fit for the Pokal-Finale against the same opponents next Thursday. #BVBRBL— Derek Rae (@RaeComm) May 6, 2021
