He's playing higher up the pitch than usual today and slowing that he's more than a one dimensional player. The assist was a cross from the right hand side of the penalty area.
Obviously if it's reflective of a big dip in form, it's not great, but if it's body/miles management after a couple fo injury breaks, I'm less concerned. I feel like TA is a guy that is going to stay fit and hungry whether he's going 90 or 25. Also, pretty good outcome for everyone involved. TA gets on the stat sheet, Leeds get a point. B'mouth stay ahead of Chelsea who have lost 5 straight! - ok, probably better if B'mouth won as Leeds seem pretty safe, but even if Chelsea hop B'mouth with citeh and chelsea still in the cup a pretty good shot one of them gets the FA Europa slot - or in City's case, pushes the table down. Brent and Everton could have something to say as well, of course.
Adams vs Leeds Came on at 73' with 1-0 lead. What an amazing game to watch, especially the 10 minutes where Adams was all over BA. Couple good funny moments. Took out Christie and pushed Scott forward. Have to call out his great moment...after a corner Bournemouth recycle ball, Tyler checks back to get it and 1 times it out wide to Scott...then sees the run into the channel is open.. gets it back and rips a beauty cross in for 2-1 lead. Great assist and even better progressive movement. Besides that, had 2 nice tackles and thats about it. Wasn't thrilled with him yelling at Senesi (MOTM by far) on the Leeds goal in the 97'. And then after the game he was all worked up and calling out his teammates. Was less of a leader in this case, especially after just coming on. Either way, great game to watch. Unfortunate dropping of 2 huge points. Side note.. they havent lost since Semenyo left in Jan.. pretty wild.
Adams starts! Bournemouth hosting Crystal Palace (Richards is resting on the bench). Looks ready for a fight!
Not PBP but Tyler playing well … Palace manager going to go off on his squad at half time… they look like they are done with the season already …
They probably want to win the Conference League but who cares about jockeying for EPL finishing position?
10th place could qualify for Europe this season, though that would involve them winning the Conference League. Bournemouth now have the longest unbeaten run in the top 5 leagues.
They're safe from relegation, have one foot in the Conference League final already and the coach is on his way in the summer, with several players' agents already fielding offers - hello Adam Wharton and Jean Philippe Mateta - from the big clubs. Plus, it's an away match. Meanwhile, Bournemouth still have an outside shot at UEFA football and were at home. A lethargic Palace performance isn't that surprising. How lethargic is though and Glasner did not look happy at all
I'd say the accountants and the sporting director for starters. Each place in the table is worth £2.7 million ($3.6 million) more than the team below them and each loss down at Palace's end of the table could cost them, Leeds or Newcastle 2-3 places in the final lineup. £5-8 million could cover a fair 2-3 salaries for next season, which could make a difference in the loan market if they win the Conference League and are strengthening for an EL campaign next season
I don't think Bournemouth have an outside shot. They are absolute favorites to finish in the first Europa League spot.
Oliver Glasner on Palace’s performance against Bournemouth: “Let’s say you have a friend's birthday and your wedding [a few days later], you are more excited for the wedding. This is the same. “Bournemouth’s semi-final was today — ours is Thursday.”
Huge game as Bournemouth visit Fulham and look to remain in position to qualify for Europe Tyler on the bench Pochettino in the stands
At half-time the score line reads 0-0 and 1-1. The 0-0 is for the goals each side has scored. The 1-1 is for the red cards each has been issued. Didn't know Fulham FC was short for Fulham Fight Club
B'mouth won this 1-0. Didn't see it, but win but them safely to 6th, for this week at least. Brentford play later today but are a full 4 pts behind.
Adams played a solid game. Made some very important tackles throughout his time on the field. Got himself in good position to score in the 2nd half and was unlucky the ball didn't quite bounce the right way. Got a 6.7 from fotmob, but that's gonna be lower than it should be because of how fotmob seems to score players in a somewhat cumulative manner.
I’m not saying they are going to do it, but Bournemouth are only 3 points back of Villa in 5th with equal GD. If Villa somehow slip up against Burnley tomorrow, Bournemouth has a good shot at Champions League football next season. Both Villa and Bournemouth have to play City (Bournemouth at home, Villa away on the final day). Bournemouth also has Forest away on the final day and Villa’s other match is Liverpool at home.
you did not mention that the referee only initially went yellow and both of them then needed VAR intervention, not really sure why. If he saw the tackles as a yellow card, then how could he have missed how bad they were?
