Because this board goes apocalyptic when an American misses a chance, or makes a bad pass, or lollygags playing someone onside. Great players barely give it a second thought. They'll put their head in their hands or apologize and immediately put it out of their mind. It's part of what makes them great. American players are going to miss chances, make bad passes, miss tackles and play attackers onside hundreds of times this year. Do we really need to analyze every incident?
There are plenty of critiques of Haaland on the bluemoon forum, many referencing specific plays. This is what fans do. And this is the one example that you single out? There are tons of examples on this forum where there's page after page analyzing a single play. This is pretty minor in comparison.
I feel kinship with Adams. I too had cramps everywhere. Mine were from going to a beer festival type thing and then three to four more places while somehow I keep getting older. I don't think it matters how you get them though. One hurts and multiple at the same time is off the charts painful.
I mean, he's still available. But that's a little worrying. edit: probably should wait until the 2nd half to decide how worried to be. Could just be tactical?
Tyler about to get VARed. Threw his arms up trying to get them out of the way and the ball hit his hand.
FT 1-1. Entertaining match. Adams looked fine, just threw up his hands while turning his body to challenge a cross and the ball brushed his arm for a PK.
The penalty kick is such an imperfect sanction. So many situations that are fairly innocuous that turn into basically free goals. Wish there was a better way.
