Halstenberg gets a red card, Kampl replaced by Olmo to push for the win.

All tied up despite the red card.

3 subs used, but 5 subs allowed, so depending on how it goes could still see Tyler

Good time for this sub - his ability to cover a ton of ground down a man could be very handy. Maybe should have come earlier.

Leipzig in a 5-3-1 with Tyler in the middle.

Counterattack - Adams receives the pass wide left, cuts back and prepares to make the final pass ... and the ref blows a delayed whistle saying there was no advantage. Adams disagrees.

Terrible whistle. Tyler had acres of space and unmarked runners heading for goal on the far side.

Penalty dispute 117th minute - defender wipes out Olmo at the end of a physical battle in the box, didn't particularly get the ball. Called a corner but we'll see.

Ref screws Leipzig, part II. Wow.

VAR isn't going to overrule that call either.

Off the crossbar, Leipzig and Adams get the win.

RB LEIPZIG WIN THEIR BIGGEST TROPHY EVER

All four takers make, and Freiburg go 2 for 4, it's over before the fifth kick. Congrats Tyler.

Should close this thread and combine it all into one imo. No reason to be having Leeds-based PbP conversations spread across three threads.

@bungadiri can we have just one Leeds thread?

Nice defending to shut down Gallagher in the corner.

He's playing pretty well-ish... think he's had a couple bad turnovers, but done some good tackling and pressing.

Adams is playing well too. Making a lot of interventions, and forcing thru a pass, if not the first, but the 2nd time.

I guess this will also be the place, because there's no combined/game thread, that I don't see the point of Daniel James, especially as a CF.

Leeds up 2-0 again. Hopefully Jesse makes the proper adjustments w/ personnel, shape, and strategy to hold it this time.

@bungadiri can we please just have one team thread? This is very clunky.

Tyler needs to control his extracurriculars. The off the ball kick of Mount could have been a red if Mount decided to go down.

Lol. The personal game day threads never suspected yanks would take over whole PL teams!

Last year someone suggested yankapalooza threads as a one off response to matches with YA on both sides. But,point taken, I'll set up a fix for the Adam's and Aaronson at Leeds issue.
