I have from 20 minutes in the first half to the end + some news reports on the game. I will eventually tape over it so give me a shout if you want it.
I actually have the tape of the match (in black and white, no less!) so I appreciate you thinking about me, GoodDead, but that's okay.
I have egg on my face, Canucks - Sportsnet WILL NOT be showing this match live I am in the midst of contacting Fox Sports World Canada for their feedback and will post news as soon as I get it. Thus far, Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Sports World en Espanhol in the US still have the rights to show this match in the US and have confirmed that they will be broadcasting the match live.
* Look below for more details on this jornada * Week 33 SuperLiga TV Schedule on Bell ExpressVu (Channel 403) and on SPT (DishNetwork channel 817). Please note that all matches are LIVE unless otherwise specified: Saturday, May 14/05 @ 2:45 pm EST - Benfica x Sporting CP Saturday, May 14/05 @ 2:45 pm EST - Rio Ave x FC Porto Saturday, May 14/05 @ 2:45 pm EST - Braga x Beira Mar The following matches will be shown on RTPi, DishNetwork channel 615 & 816: Saturday, May 14/05 @ 2:45 pm EST - Rio Ave x FC Porto - LIVE The following match will be shown on FPTV (FPTV can be received in Ontario by Rogers and in Quebec by VideoTron): Saturday, May 14/05 @ 2:45 pm EST - Rio Ave x FC Porto - LIVE Confused at the times? The League has decided to have these matches start at the same time due to the implications that they have on the championship. While the Rio Ave x FC Porto will be shown on TVI, the derby match and the Braga x Beira Mar match will both be shown by SportTV in perhaps a split screen, with the derby getting most of the action. It remains to be seen what we here in North America will get a chance at seeing, but look for Bell ExpressVu and SPT to show the SportTV games, with FPTV and RTPi to show the Rio Ave x FC Porto match. Enjoy!
WEDNESDAY, May 11 FOX SOCCER CHANNEL English Premier League ARSENAL-EVERTON (live), 3 pm. CONCACAF Champions Cup Final, 2nd Leg UNAM-SAPRISSA (live), 9:30 pm.
...because the 4 teams involved in the title race have implications on one another. The league does not want the result of an earlier game to implict the result of another match.
This is the right thing to do... This way the League eliminates any potential problems.... They also do this on the last day of the season.
Do any of you guy's know if the Uefa Cup final game will be shown on RTPI or any other canadian station. I need to watch my Sporting in a Euro final. Thanks
the winner of tonight's game will qualify to new World Cup of Clubs, the first game Saprissa of Costa Rica won 2-0 at home
Get yourself to a pub with Fox Soccer Channel - Fox Sports World Canada nor Sportsnet will be showing it live, barring any unforeseen miracle
