Does anyone have any idea how many of the playoff games will be telivised either on FSW or ESPN2? Thanks
ESPN didn't carry any playoff games until MLS Cup last year, so unless you have shootout or have access to your team's regional TV network, you're out of luck.
I can't get the Shootout package from either of the two locations where I have cable TV, so I've been watching most of the non ESPN2 and FSW matches on the Yahoo Platinum link (see MLSnet.com for details). It's only $9.95/month. The picture's not as clear as TV, but you can watch every game that MLS televises on your PC. I'm guessing that every MLS playoff game that either on local TV or the shootout package will also be on Yahoo Platinum.
Chicago's 2nd leg game in the first round will be on ESPN2 at 1 pm EST, Nov. 9. I don't know about others. I thought FSW said it will show one game each weekend.
FSW will televise AT LEAST 8 playoff games. MLS Cup on ABC. 8 first round games, 2 semifinal games, 1 final(MLS Cup). so if espn2 will pick up just the 2 semifinal games, ALL of the MLS Cup playoffs will be televised.
Is this true?? If so, I will be so happy, but I just looked at the FSW website, and did not see a thing about them showing MLS Playoffs.... Not that I want to doubt you, but how do you know this? Paul.
geez i wish espn2 picked them up, but i dont see it happening. so it looks like 2 more soccer games and an mls cup is all thats left for me, i think.
i know, it's gard to believe. FSW will have a full schedule. from: http://www.mlsnet.com/content/03/mls0401fsi.html
does anybody know the deal on Yahoo! Platinum Playoff coverage? It's the only choice for us non-cabled college kids.
