The TV schedule for Mexico has been a disgrace...and we have not heard anything about TV for the Guatemala game so I checked ESPN and it is listed to be shown live on Sept 7 at 10pm eastern. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/tv/listing?date=20050907&cc=5901 Wonder if it will really happen?
Why not? The Mexico game - while absurd - is an abberation. No reason to believethat the Guatemala game would be the same.
Actually, there are now some US college football games on Wednesdays and they're usually scheduled to be televized. Luckily, the linked site provides solid evidence to believe there are no games on 9/7. ESPN will broadcast the USMNT game. http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/scoreboard?w=2&c=all
I was not so concerned about college football as I was the fact that for away games we are totally at the mercy of the home federation and the fact that there has been no announcement on ussoccer.com.
"USA Soccer-Men's World Cup Qualifier - LIVE!" Look at the exclamation mark, mocking us, saying "can you believe we are actually broadcast this Live??? OMG"
