OK, Crew.com has the game listed as TBA. Any bets on whether or not the cheap fvck doesn't send a film crew?
Well with the Revs just deciding last night that they would change the game to Sunday I'm sure that throws another wrench into it. This game better be on TV.
Ya know, that would make an awful lot of sense. Not show games on home TV. 'Cept you'd get people like me who'd be stuck at college with no TV to watch the home game. So it's a lose-lose situation. Or something like that.
Am I missing something here? Wasn't the game last night at Foxboro? I'm thinking that was a Patriots Logo they tried to hide. And wasn't that the Revolution playing out there in front of a whopping 7,000 fans? And wasn't that Fox Sports New England that actually gave Jack Edwards a job calling the match last night? THEREFORE: If the above recollections are correct, then FSNE does indeed show home Revs matches, or at least home Revs PLAYOFF matches (although since the Revs have never actually BEEN in the playoffs before, they're probably just winging it)
IMO, they did a pretty decent job of hiding the logos. They were still visible, but obviously a lot better than Dallas - Colorado. I didnt see the LA game last night so can't compare it to that. At least they got it down far enough to use white lines for the NE game rather than orange.
Bill, you can really be a dick at times. I missed the broadcast as I was traveling home from a business trip. Are you sure that FSNE didn't broadcast FSChicago's production?
I watched the Chicago broadcast of it, complete with local Chicagoan broadcasters. No Jack Edwards in sight.
That's MISTER Dick to you, pal. And I'm sorry you were traveling last night. It took Jack Edwards less than five minutes to proudly announce that someone had "climbed the ladder" The "color" guy with him didn't have a clue. It was ugly from beginning to end.
the color guy looked like a grown-up denice the menace the field looked pretty good - best cover up job i've seen
yeah, it's on sport TV (TW 24, insight 36 or 16).. Jack Edwards will be broadcasting on eagle 103.9, www.eagle1039.com and www.thecrew.com all i can say is
Man, I really feel for the guy now, he wasn't even allowed to finish the season and now he would be broadcasting on the radio in Columbus.
True, but he is better than the person they had doing the regular-season finale on the radio...he was terrible!
And HE was a vast improvement over the guy who did radio PBP in place of Burgess last year. Truly frightening.
