Thanks for the Update LAX. I saw that earlier on ESPN as well. I don't know why we complain so much when we have so much soccer this weekend on ESPN and ESPN2. All of this is building a momentum leading to the next year's World Cup in South Africa.
Well we did have Spain-South Africa on ESPN and Iraq-New Zealand on ESPN2 and the pregame show on ESPN as scheduled. No simulcast of the pregame on ESPN2 however as they decided to show 25 minutes of World Strongest Man instead. ESPN2 started their coverage at 2:25 pm ET with Steve Bunin (who replaced Rece Davis today) and Alexi Lalas in the studio previewing the game before going to the kickoff. No National Anthems for this one - unlike we got on ESPN for Spain-South Africa. Not sure of this (and I can't go back to check since I didn't record the Iraq-New Zealand game) but at the end of the coverage on ESPN2, when coming back from commercial break - I think I saw them highlighting on the bottom line that they will be showing a replay of Spain-South Africa - Sunday morning from 1:00 am ET to 3:00 am ET. If true, this replaces the replay of the Iraq-New Zealand game. I'm wondering if they are doing this to please the people who set their recorder ahead to get the Spain-South Africa game but wounded up recording Iraq-New Zealand game instead due to the switch in games. If so, kudos to ESPN for doing that. Looks like a 2:25 pm ET start time for coverage of United States-Eqypt on ESPN2 Sunday. ESPN/ESPN2 kept plugging that for the start time during their coverage this afternoon so it looks like no simulcast of the pregame show that ESPN is showing - on ESPN2. Oh well. LB...
Will this match be replayed this evening, on ESPN Classic or some other venue? Was driving back from the in-laws and could only follow via iPhone. Many thanks!
If they don't replay it right after the BRA-ITA match I'll wish famines and plagues on ESPN. Replays of 2008 poker are in the time slot currently. There's not one legit excuse to not replay the match.
Does anyone know if they will be replaying this match in it's entirety tonight or tomorrow? I missed it, have already seen the highlights online but need to see it all. Anyone know? ESPN2, Classic, online link to full match? thank you ahead of time.
Not sure if anyone here knows about livesoccertv.com but I've been using it for years to check the televised schedules and tons of soccer video highlights. I don't know how I missed it but.... USA v Egypt will be replayed at 630pm tonight and three more times in the next day or so. ALL ON GOLTV CANADA!!!!!!!! WHAT??? HOW CAN I SEE THAT IN LOS ANGELES???

SUNDAY, June 28 - ESPN2 FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 Third Place Match (live), 9 am. FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 Final (live). 2:30 pm. Just a minor "correction" - coverage of the third place game will begin at 8:55 am ET and coverage of the final will begin at 2:00 pm ET. United States-Eqypt will be replayed on TV - although you have to wait like eleven days to see it. ESPNU on July 4 is showing all three group stage games in order - back to back to back. United States vs Italy - 4:00 pm ET - 6:00 pm ET. United States vs Brazil - 6:00 pm ET - 8:00 pm ET. United States vs Eqypt - 8:00 pm ET - 10:00 pm ET. Wouldn't be surprise if ESPNU changes their schedule and shows United States vs Spain - 10:00 pm ET - 12:00 am ET and United States vs Brazil or South Africa - 12:00 am ET - 2:00 am ET. LB...
I'm surprised that it seems like the USA v Egypt match can't be downloaded in its entirety anywhere online. I'm not sure if I can wait until July 4th. Isn't there any techy soccer geek out there that has created the torrent already?
It was there on mininova. 2.47GB, pre and post match and the game in HD. It took me 16hrs to download it. Search for "Egypt vs"
i am not sure what my internet service provider is for the company I work. It is a big company so I am not sure how they get their internet I hope to find somewhere to watch it. I have looked into getting a slingbox. is it worth it?

Just caught this thread too late. I started recording the match for posterity on telefutura/univision unfortunately in the 28th minute just after Jozy's goal. I would love to record this game in it's entirety. Does anyone know if univision/telefutura will replay this in the next couple of days prior to the final? Thanks in advance.
