Is their programming different for every country or is it all the same ? I'm in the US and I was wondering if they broadcast the same French League games everywhere else. Here they only show like 1 game a week and its usually not the best matchups.
Le championnat games are the same, they are from TPS. TV5 u.s. gets the national team games I think, but not in Canada. We have RFO for that.
In Canada, they have TV5 which broadcasts one match a week and has a weekly one hour besf of. If you want TV schedule, there´s a us website about it but i don´t remeber the adress. Go on Yahoo Uk and type Football TV Broadcast and it´s among the first answers.
Anyone know wether the TV5 we get in England is showing live games. I've had a look at the website but i dont know much French so carn't understand a word it says. Any help would be great
Monsieur Magoo, I am almost sure they don't show games on tv5 England because they don't on the tv5 in France either, only outside the old continent will you get games on tv5.
TV5 is a french tv channel which broadcasts all over the world programs from France, Belgium, Switzerland and Canada. In the Western Europe version, it doesn´t broadcast any match but a one hour resume of the games the day after. The program is called France Foot. I think it´s a question of copyright. Here in Spain, there is a satellite tv channel which broadcasts european leagues (english, franch, german, dutch, portuguese); which means another channel can do it as well. But if you have a parabole, you can try to get another version of TV5, where it broadcasts one match per week; knowing that it´s not the second match in term of supposed interest.
Spidey is right, it's a copyright thing... Next week, big game on tv5: Monaco-Bordeaux, what a treat it will be, can't wait to see the Gallardo-Rothen-Guily trio go at it. Also anxious to check out Pauleta/Darcheville.
The matches start at about noon local time here on TV5. It's avaliable on most cable systems. http://www.tv5.ca/foot
