its not worth it to turn a poor leadeship guy into a coach. You'd be better off financially if you recruit one externally. That being said, since the above player has excellent experience, he can become an excellent coach if u wished.
well, if your a lower level team where training is really all that matters, the excellent/poor coach would do the job for a few seasons nicely... for me, I've got a passable/inad player right now that I've pegged as my next coach when he hits solid exp sometime next season at a cost of (roughly) 700K to convert..
Experience determines how high the coach's training skill CAN be. (You pick when you convert him to a coach.) Check here for an idea of how much it costs to convert a player. To BUY an Excellent coach with poor leadership will cost 4 million dollars. On that chart, to convert Excellent exp into an excellent trainer will cost at least $4,247,700.
I turned a solid experience/inadequate leadership defender into my coach late last season. I made him a solid trainer and I think it cost $700k or so.
If you're a typical lower level team, you can't afford an excellent/poor coach. As stated above, don't bother with this guy; if you want a solid/poor coach, recruit him externally, it will be cheaper.
That's what I did, or was it solid/weak, I can't remember, but I know his leadership is poor now. Either way, he's just a segway coach, until my current captain, inad/solid goes up in exp a few more times. He should go to passable this season, and then solid in another season or two. Then he'll be great coaching material.
Last night I was able to make Calderon my coach. My first solid/solid ever. Man, I'm happy right now.
as also stated above, you can convert the guy to a solid/poor coach at a better price...he doesnt have to be an ex/poor coach..
Yes, but monetarily, it NEVER* makes sense to convert a guy to a solid/poor coach! It's only ~270k if you get one externally, vs. ~600k (give or take, depending on experience in the normal range you might consider) to convert one. * Actually, it might be cheaper to convert a divine exp/poor leadership guy into a solid coach, but I don't think you'll see too many of those guys on the market at an affordable price.
