Is De Rossi as big a name as Pirlo? I'm thinking he would need to come over while he still has a couple good years left. Pirlo hasn't been terrible, but his play has certainly helped move the league further from the already waning 'star retirement league' concept.
I thought this meant they were in trouble when I saw the headline. Pirlo has one goal despite taking nearly every free-kick from outside the box and his corners aren't that great with one or two exceptions. He has 8 assist in 52 games and has probably given away more goals than that.

De Rossi has been a beast this season. Rumor has it that both Milan teams are chasing him with their new Chinese funny money. Then again AC Milan in particular is being linked to half the players in Europe right now. The latest rumor is Aubameyang for $100 million
Pirlo wants DeRossi to wait until he will be even worse than Pirlo has been. It's bad enough that Giovinco the Atomic Ant runs circles around Pirlo, it would be downright embarrassing if Paolo the Arnoldic Gant did. ....hmmmm..... maybe I'm with Pirlo here. Let's be patient and then enjoy the fun of having our own Lothar with Jersey Shore flair...
