Today's name the badge. Since the name is on the badge, you have to name the country that it plays in:
so, would they need to include all 18 Liga MX teams? I would assume all MLS teams would be included, but maybe not. I assume there may team valuations and be an option for team owners to decide viability in the combined league and given opt out/buy in pricing.
That article is a big old pile of warm doggie kaka. The headline says that a merger is "rumoured", but nowhere does it even hint at an actual "rumour" beyond the writers' own imagination. Instead of even one quote, one piece of evidence, one solitary indication that this is anything but a fantasy, we get: suggestions are being made that the two biggest soccer leagues on the continent could be merged. Right now, nothing is confirmed so there is no guarantee that a merger will even take place. If serious discussions are taking place now The writer doesn't even try to pretend that anyone serious is even casually discussing a merger. Its just mental masturbation. Then again, I'm not sure but I'm thinking "The Yucatan Times" is not exactly one of your more rock solid sources.
If one has ever gotten to know any hincha (die hard) of either these two clubs in their life, then there is no understating of just how combative, fierce and lack of mercy goes into this derby contest. This match is terrific on all levels, save when some idiots of their clubs go overboard with shenanigans. DALE BO' !!!!!!!!!!!!
I love when the documentaries talk about rivalries.. The Atalanta vs Brescia one was delightful, because it touched on the history of the fans, the cities, even the food. I would have loved to see more history on this rivalry. it has too much history to ignore. I was in Argentina at the same time the Copa Libertadores finals were being played between Boca and River. I could not get into the first match (resell prices were going about 3000 USD ). THe second game never came to be in Argentina and it was played in Madrid, what a disgrace.
