I would be upset if we didn't make it look respectable at our own home and minus bale

I would hope so. Tottenham have not won any of their away Europa League matches so at least I think it will be more even in the second leg. Hopefully some injured players return although I think the return fixture is next week.

    Internazionale 1-0 Tottenham HT.

So far a good performance from Internazionale I think. Cassano has put Internazionale ahead with a header after a great move and there have been other fantastic chances for Internazionale. Cassano was clean through on the goalkeeper but dived in my opinion looking for a penalty. Palacio was also through but unluckily hit the bar. Tottenham have looked mediocre and only had one good chance right at the end when Juan Jesus made an error and Adebayor lobbed over. Really dissapointing about some of these chances especially since they were clean through even in the first leg. Very crucial.

EDIT. 2-0 Internazionale on 52 minutes. Fanstasic through ball by Cassano unlocks the Tottenham defence and clinical low finish from Palacio. Game on! Internazionale can do it!

Inter looking like they can make it 3-0 before Tottenham get a goal, truly look lost without Lennon and Bale out there on the flanks

Guarin comes off for Alvarez. Not really convinced on that change.

hoping Inter get one more, Tottenham look completely stale, trying to make sure they don't concede another.

Inter might get a 4th but whatever Inter do they can't concede or else this effort was futile

Internazionale 3-0 Tottenham. It goes to extra time. It would be a travesty if Internazionale go out after this effort. Tottenham have been totally poor and deviod of any quality. It seems they thought by simply showing up they would progress. Internazionale have opened them up on many occassions and should have wrapped it up right at the end when Cambiasso had all the time in the world to pick his spot and shoot clean on goal. That would have been amazing if that went it.

    agreed Tottenham have been horrible

Even though it only takes one goal for Tottenham to advance, I'd feel more comfortable with Handanovic between the sticks, the guy is one of the best keepers in Serie A.

Yup they needed to finish it off in regulation when they had all the momentum. Bad play by Palacio to get caught in possesion before the goal, he's played great but there was all kinds of runs being made in front of him.

It was all lackadaisical from Internazionale and they completely gave the initiative to Tottenham again. They thought the job had been done. Very dissapointing. A lot of time wasting going here now.

Cassano played a perfect ball to Gargano but he couldn't coral it. Inter need a quick one for a grand stand finish.
