only 2 minutes and questionable actions already made, a handball by the opposing defender in his box and a pull down of milito in side the box...ref probably wasn't going to give it
2-0 good win, a little iffy in defense for those last 15 minutes palacio managed to pull off a great goal in a tough spot, and cucho with a nice rebound goal
Goalkeepers: 12 Castellazzi, 27 Belec, 32 Cincilla; Defenders: 4 Zanetti, 6 Silvestre, 13 Maicon, 23 Ranocchia, 25 Samuel, 33 Mbaye, 40 Juan Jesus, 42 Jonathan, 44 Bianchetti, 55 Nagatomo; Midfielders: 10 Sneijder, 14 Guarin, 19 Cambiasso, 24 Benassi; Forwards: 7 Coutinho, 8 Palacio, 22 Milito, 88 Livaja, 99 Cassano. list for tomorrow's game, interesting to see maicon included
Hi folks, I'm an American soccer fan in Milan for a couple nights. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good bar to watch tonight's match. I was thinking something near the stadium, so I could check out the San Siro before gametime, but mostly just looking for a place that will be fired up about the game (or at least as fired up as Inter fans will get about a Europa qualifier). Cheers!
I was going to recommend il duomo but that's really more for away games, are you sure you don't want to go to the game? the tickets are super cheap because its an EL game I would advice to go the stadium and ask which is the nearest inter bar, the folk running the stadium are very hospitable
and then what a comeback to 2-2, sweating during my class when I heard we were down to 10 once again things get complicated at home...anyways the draw for the group stage is tomorrow
I feel more optimistic though we didn't help our home record yet again but we could have the way we played, regardless rubin has quality players and have played as a thorn to bigger teams in CL which they are semi regulars of
won with our subs vs the weakest team wooh!, good game for our subs though, especially guarin who finally wised up and looked for passes instead of trying to shoot mindless rockets, 2 assists for him and a goal for coutinho, obi and livaja top of the group with rubin
Goalkeepers: 1 Handanovic, 27 Belec, 32 Cincilla; Defenders: 4 Zanetti, 6 Silvestre, 23 Ranocchia, 25 Samuel, 40 Juan Jesus, 42 Jonathan, 44 Bianchetti, 55 Nagatomo; Midfielders: 14 Guarin, 16 Mudingayi, 19 Cambiasso, 21 Gargano, 31 Pereira; Forwards: 7 Coutinho, 8 Palacio, 22 Milito, 88 Livaja, 99 Cassano probably won't see much of cucho after his great performance which would give gargano or guarin a start with probably pereira as a LM , we'll probably see Silvestre and jonathan start seeing as this is the weakest team in the group have no problems with livaja, he should be able to handle this game with the help of coutinho and maybe cassano
In your previous post you said the other team you played is the weakest in the group. There should be no excuses for not getting out of this group and probably finishing top of it.
coming into the group stage that team was but now partizan is on par , we are tied for first with rubin a CL quality team, couti subbed out do to a knock shame he was doing well
Too close of a call at the end but we were the better team albeit partizan gave us more than one scare, tied for first but qualification is pretty much assured
bad news for tomorrow and for sunday, apperently both frog and samuel got knocks in the juve game and are potentially out for 2-4 games, they will definitely miss tomorrows game Goalkeepers: 1 Handanovic, 12 Castellazzi, 27 Belec; Defenders: 4 Zanetti, 6 Silvestre, 28 Pasa, 31 Pereira, 40 Juan Jesus, 42 Jonathan, 55 Nagatomo; Midfielders: 14 Guarin, 16 Mudingayi, 19 Cambiasso, 21 Gargano, 24 Benassi, 52 Romanò; Forwards: 8 Palacio, 22 Milito, 88 Livaja, 99 Cassano dont know if strama is going to go with 4 in the back or have 3 with silvestre-cucho-J.J we may also see some of the youth introduced
Juan jesus is pretty cheap in fantasy league though, dont pick silvestre though I didnt pick any inter defenders or handanovic, good thing since we hardly pull out a clean sheet in EL or league
Qualification! notable stand outs: guarin of coarse, handanovic sivestre and jonathan a little unconvincing but thats understandable ten away wins in a row which is a new record, and hopefully we continue that record towards rubin who we have to beat to ensure getting 1st some bad news, another injury this time to gaby, nagatomo may have received a knock next game is on the 22nd away to rubin
odd, very odd Goalkeepers: 12 Luca Castellazzi, 27 Vid Belec, 32 Matteo Cincilla; Defenders: 4 Javier Zanetti, 6 Matias Silvestre, 23 Andrea Ranocchia, 31 Alvaro Pereira, 40 Juan Jesus, 42 Jonathan, 48 Andrea Bandini, 54 Isaac Donkor(*); Midfielders: 21 Walter Gargano, 24 Marco Benassi, 28 Simone Pasa, 46 Yago Del Piero, 52 Andrea Romanò; Forwards: 7 Philippe Coutinho, 8 Rodrigo Palacio, 61 Luca Garritano, 88 Marko Livaja. I'm a bit taken by calling up so many youngsters vs Rubin who we have to beat in order to ensure 1st place(or at least draw 2-2) I understand resting some players, milito, cambiasso, samuel, handanovic but why no cassano? he is suspended for league games after all midfield is kinda scary looking, unless strama is going to use zanetti/pereira(starter) or jonathan + gargano I was somewhat confident before, now I'm a little iffy, hopefully this doesn't add a sour taste to thanksgiving
