These set pieces are all inspired by the iconic images of the Obama team in the situation room while monitoring the killing of Osama bin Laden. Trump envies that image. He wants one of those for himself.
I'm somewhat surprised that prices atthe pump haven't spiked higher already. It's common - at least here in Centeral Ohio - for prices to change 20-30 cents overnight. Happens all the time. So, yes, prices are up. But not enough yet that it'll really be noticable to most people. Unless this war is over in the next week (whch is awfully hard to imagine), you have to think that the upward trend will accelerate in the very near term.
There is a time delay between what the traders are trading at and what people pay. The gas at the pump is oil that was bought a while ago.
Technically. But I've often seen price increases at the pump change dramatically overnight when something happens across the globe, like a refinery unexpectedly going off-line. I mean, if the gas we're buying today was bought a while ago, then why did prices change at all this week? All it takes for price at the pump increase is large corporations deciding to increase the price.
But you get charged for what they are spending now, not on what they already spent on what is in the tanks at the gas station.
Posting a tweet because it has a gift link NEW: Pardon seekers are routinely being asked to pay $1m+ to lobbyists & lawyers claiming access to Trump, often with bonuses if clemency is granted.I investigated the Trump Pardon Industrial Complex, & detailed the backstory behind 1 interesting pardon https://t.co/Yswmv9cxBU— Kenneth P. VIOLATION! By your own meticulous thread management standards, this still belongs in the tweet thread. Do better.
You know those trump stickers of him pointing and saying I did that? If someone prints a sticker that reads “if you voted for him….you did that”…I’m in for a couple hundred. I have a hybrid and go about 1000 miles between fill ups…but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make. May have to do in Penn to avoid the gas pump Nazis here in NJ…but I’m over there enough.
