In college I had a friend who had the proclivities of an alley cat. At the time we thought he was a great guy. Lots of fun to be around. Witty banter and knew how to pull ladies. But eventually you would have to cover for him. And it was a big downside. Eventually, his schtick wore us out and having to cover for him from his girlfriend. The more you covered, the more he expected it. And eventually his girlfriend at the time would wake us up, asking where he was. Or they were having a huge blowout about where he was and why some random woman was dropping him off 3 blocks from the dorms. And for some reason it would be your fault. I imagine this is how the GOP feels. Trump constantly stepping in $hit and having to cover constantly. Only for him to repeatedly find another pile of $hit to step in. This might actually be the incident where the GOP gives up covering for him. But I doubt it. They'll pretend they didn't see it or say that the Dems are the real racists. * Ha ha fcuk em. *edit : Got distracted and posted before I finished my thoughts.
@The Jitty Slitter This is for you - The Grand Conspiracy https://www.lawfaremedia.org/article/rational-security---the-story-of-three-warrants--edition It's only the first segment, but is really up your line. I think most of us have wondered by Gabbard was in Georgia for the search of voting records related to the 2020 election. Well, there is a case in Florida regarding Obama and the Russia Hoax (aka, the Grand Conspiracy). From Trump perspective, he believes that not only did Obama cause the Russia Hoax, but he also actively made his election look invalid. So, Trump is thinking that he did not legit win the 2016 election, and that he did not lose the 2020 election. It's bonkers. But, as the team at Lawfare point out, there's more. One of the team (I think Michael Feinberg) is a former DOJ prosecutor that dealt with national security issues, and he can make so sense of why Gabbard was in GA for the search other than to have been directed by Trump AND in relation to the case in Florida. And he is absolutely certain that people in the US national intelligence arena are having a conniption right now as just the mere presence of Gabbard raises issues of a subpoena of her phone, let alone if she was involved in the search. And if she was involved in the search, what information could be subpoenaed from her office that led her to be there. And that is not even considering the problems that come up if she handled anything for any duration. And what if she handled something and at some point it was outside the presence of anybody else? It has all the hallmarks of a purely political decision, and might actually ******** up the DOJ case. Oh, and related. A list of conspiracies that Trump has promoted. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_conspiracy_theories_promoted_by_Donald_Trump The big question on this is about voter rolls. There was some debate on how bad this is, as the DOJ has the physical voter rolls, and has said there are 15 locations he is looking at for this same thing (the election of 2020). But they suggest chaos could occur, but not prevention.
Garry Kasparov had a tweet about that which was my sig for a while. In the first Trump administration, just a handful of the top people weaponized lying as a matter of routine. In this administration, everyone with a voice weaponizes lying.
The barbaric, illegal and inhumane blockade of Cuba which will kill indiscriminately the most vulnerable is taking its toll on its tourism sector. Not sure if this was posted elsewhere, but y'all now how Gabbard was in Atlanta for the Fulton County election warrant thing? Well... https://bsky.app/profile/rparloff.bsky.social/post/3megucioohs2d Per declaration of Fulton Co elections chief, FBI arrived with warrant ~ 12:32pm on 1/28. Tulsi & “DC” folks didn’t arrive till 8pm, an hour before search ended at 9pm. Just there for optics? Additionally, I've seen it elsewhere that the DOJ took approximately 50 boxes more than they claimed.
I thought Heated Rivalry was pretty good, but they lost me when Montreal won the Cup. And then repeated? Pashaw! I’d more readily believe they travelled through a black hole and emerged unscathed.
And that's how we forgot that he posted that the Obamas were gorillas two whole days ago, something that would have gotten any employee in the world fired.
This. I saw somewhere the theory that, as his approval ratings tumble down and more people opposses his agenda, the administration is turning to "firendly" crowds and posting for the extreme right, in order to get clicks and possitive feedback. What a bunch of needy losers.

Can we prevail upon someone, anyone, to jam cell signals and wi-fi at 1600 from sundown to sunset? His nocturnal emissions constitute a clear and present danger.
It's too difficult to get close to the White House and has been so since 94/95 when Pa Avenue was closed in front of the White House.
