Rubio's Valentine's Day message to Europe: Change or get dumped 2 dagen geleden The US needs to see a reformed Europe, Rubio told decades-long allies - not just details of defense budgets, but a sea change in the continent's value system.
He also invited the Europe to recolonize the global south on behalf of the US - not as partners but lapdogs Make white supremacy and colonialism great again
Last weekend, Trump’s lawyers filed papers to trademark his name for airports. https://heathercoxrichardson.substa...aign=post&utm_medium=email&triedRedirect=true
He's definitely jealous he doesn't have an island named after him. and “DJT,” including “clothing, handbags, luggage, jewelry, watches, and tie clips.” Oh and Bibles and watches too, amirite?
https://www.reuters.com/business/en...neral-projects-texas-ohio-georgia-2026-02-17/ WASHINGTON, Feb 17 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump's administration on Tuesday announced three projects valued at $36 billion to be financed by Japan, including an oil export facility in Texas, an industrial diamonds plant in Georgia and a natural gas power plant in Ohio. I'll believe it when I see it, considering he's promised all sorts of shit with his name on it.
This has video (1:33) https://bsky.app/profile/atrupar.com/post/3mf55wg2k5y23 Hassett telling CNBC that the people at the NY Fed don't know how to write an economic paper. Also, consumers were made better off by the tariffs.
Also who the actual ******** does he think he is? A senator from a state with under 4.7 million inhabitants. Does the deluded little ********er think his brown-nosing of Trump somehow puts him above Mette Frederiksen in any sort of geopolitical hierarchy? Put an EU wide entry ban on the ********er until he can learn some basic manners.
Slotkin apparently witnessed at least some of it, I am curious if she would be willing to talk about what she witnessed.
We should nationalise Chelsea Football Club and deliver a lecture about how Boehly needs to work on his local football culture until it meets our shared ideals
This is a longer version. Got to love how she handled it. New details are emerging about a heated meeting on Saturday afternoon at the Bayerischer Hof hotel in Munich between several senators and members of Congress and Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, along with Greenland’s Premier Jens-Frederik Nielsen. It was during this meeting… pic.twitter.com/a1HlNURlsl— Orla Joelsen (@OJoelsen) February 17, 2026
I don't think the EU should stand for ********ing senators coming over here to lecture and even swear at heads of state. Collectively need to find a morsel of self-respect. What's next, the mayor of Scranton is going to visit the Élysée to call Macron a pussy? It's not because U.S. politics has collectively lost its mind and forgotten about basic decorum and politeness that we should just accept them coming over here and behaving in that manner.
You all keep inviting these people to these events. If you had a drunken asshole attend a party you gave would you keep inviting him?
What we should do in response is interfere in US elections Rubio and Bibi and Elmo and co are quite happy to interfere in european domestic politics so probably time to take sides IMO
I was talking to Paige at the local coffeehouse last Sunday. If I see here again this Sunday, I'll ask. If she doesn't come in, I'll ask her husband. Unless he has their kids with him.
While I agree with this, there are a couple of aspects to this that I see as consideration on how to respond.: 1 - Graham doesn't have any real power within the government. Yeah, he is the chairman of the Budget Committee, but otherwise, that is it. 2 - Graham is one of those politician who will suck up to who ever he sees as the most powerful person in the room. He kissed McCain's ass, then kissed Trump's ass, then kissed Biden's ass (as much as was allowed considering he is Republican), and then went back to kissing Trump's ass. This response is also not close to what I've ever seen from Graham, and is following on the heels of Bondi's performance in front of Congress. As I think about it, the best response would be for European leaders to refuse to see any Republican Senator (for a while) for any reason and make it clear it was because of Graham.
Or alternatively, we could just send the French député of Haute-Vienne to the White House to drop a few F-bombs and call Trump a demented orange idiot.
