Check out the documentary Jesus Camp. It's a nice, long, terrible look into youth indoctrination camps about how Bush the Younger was divinely appointed. The kids would worship and cry over pictures of him and so on and so on.
Did not expect Rod Blagojevich to be in the news cycle today. https://www.npr.org/2020/02/18/8070...ntence-of-former-illinois-gov-rod-blagojevich President Trump has commuted the sentence of the ex-governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, who has been imprisoned since being convicted in 2010 on corruption charges over his attempt to sell the Senate seat vacated by then-President Obama. "Yes, we commuted the sentence of Rod Blagojevich," Trump told reporters on Tuesday. The move would free Blagojevich from prison four years before he would have been eligible for parole and clear his corruption convictions. Blagojevich, once seen as a rising star in the Democratic party, was a contestant on Trump's former reality show "The Celebrity Apprentice." For years, his family and allies have been attempting to curry favor with the White House, with his wife, Patti, making repeated pleas on Fox News and other national outlets for Trump to intervene in her husband's case after exhausting all legal appeals. And yet, I am nowhere near surprised.
It is not just Blago, Bernie Kerik, the epitome of a crooked cop, tax cheat and mobster and all around sleazeball, has been pardoned as well. 1229840693029412870 is not a valid tweet id List of full pardons granted today: Edward DeBartolo, Jr., Michael Milken, Ariel Friedler, Bernard Kerik, Paul Pogue, David Safavian, and Angela Stanton.— Eamon Javers (@EamonJavers) February 18, 2020 In addition, President Trump signed Executive Grants of Clemency granting commutations to Rod Blagojevich, Tynice Nichole Hall, Crystal Munoz, and Judith Negron.— Eamon Javers (@EamonJavers) February 18, 2020

Oh I think that they fervently did, about Ronnie. The GOP keeps talking as if Ronnie is in office when it has the anti Ronnie (except for the racism, there they are the same) but it doesnt notice.
Trump probably pardoned Blago because when he gets convicted of the same crimes he can point to the pardon as precedent.
I may have egg on my face in a week's time, but this whole "Barr is upset and may resign" is the most kayfabey thing I've seen from this presidency. And that's an Everest-level bar.
But hold on - there's more! I saw this clip on CBS this morning. Reporter goes to OH to get a feel of voters' fee-fees. The Trumper mindset is quite strong among these cousins Dennis & Terry who were "lifelong Democrats" Go to 1:30 to see how Trump motivated Terry to get off his Oxy-gobbling, food stamp-using Whitelandian ass and go get himself a jab https://www.cbs.com/shows/cbs_this_...he-state-s-battleground-presidential-primary/
From the news report: "The happy [or else] couple dined on a buffet of babies, flies and small rodents, roasted with garlic, parsnips and just a hint of ash from Miller's grandma's cremation urn. The couple toasted with a sparkling wine enhanced with the 'essence of tears from immigrant families separated at the border,' according to the caterer, H. Lector of Lector's Catering and Human BBQ. "'The babies were particularly succulent today,' Miller was heard to say, licking his eyelid with his tongue. "'The look of sheer terror, err wonder, in the eye of the blushing bride was a sight to behold. I am sure they will have many, many lovely days of bliss in Stephen's coffin, which I heard has been renovated to fit two...' commented one guest, who wished to remain anonymous, for fear of her safety." [okay, maybe not]
Remember, Strom Thurmond fathered a child with a black woman. I feel like these people are just the classic Onion homosexuals article.
Totally White Katie is cut from the same cloth "Once again we have had a violent mob of migrants attempt to enter the United States illegally by attacking our agents with projectiles," said Katie Waldman, a spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security. "As has happened before -- in this and previous administrations -- our personnel used the minimum force necessary to defend themselves, defend our border, and restore order." https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/01/us/california-border-patrol-gas-migrants/index.html

Speaking of Trumpy things . . . https://www.thetimes-tribune.com/news/bannon-to-speak-in-dickson-city-1.2597123 Steve Bannon is giving a speech about 3.5 miles from my house. The Scranton chapter of the anti-abortion Pennsylvanians for Human Life booked Bannon for its 37th Annual Respect for Life Prayer Breakfast on March 7 at 9 a.m. at Genetti Manor. Anne Domin, president of the Scranton chapter, said she arranged Bannon’s appearance with the help of former state Attorney General Ernie Preate. Preate’s daughter, Alexandra, counts Bannon as a client and friend and has called him “one of the smartest people I’ve ever worked with.” As chief strategist, Bannon helped Trump push an anti-abortion agenda. Well, at least they aren't calling it "pro life." And thankfully, it's March, so we won't have our windows open or laundry on the line outside.
