This is just silly, but thanks for sharing. We don't have enough mindless reposting of stupid Hollywood tweets around here (full disclosure, I have no idea who Kathryn Watson is, but I am guessing she didn't win a Nobel Prize and the Swedes give them out like candy).

We have targets, eleven to be exact, and they are all oil refineries.

Like believing the stimulus was a failure.

 

More like an underachiever. A 'Cash for Clunkers' if you will.

Name an economist who believes the stimulus underachieved, and the reasons why.

 

We had 8 years of a flat line GDP growth, and this coming out of a deep recession... why do I need an economist? If it makes you happy I am still driving the car I bought thanks to Obama's stupid 'Cash for Clunkers' program.

 

You need an economist because your untrustworthiness is only matched by your belief in an alternate reality to the world in which we live. If what you believe in is true, someone else will be able to back you up.

I've been saying this for a decade now.

 

As much as I do not want to bail out Vfish, we both know he is not going to produce anything outside talking points.

But this article lists 9 studies of the stimulus package.

6 say it worked, 1 claims it worked a little (so under achieved), 2 say it did not work

Forgive me but where did I say $800 billion in stimulus wasn't a boost to the economy. I have only questioned why there wasn't a bigger boost as normally there is a economic boom coming out of a recession and we were in a very, very deep hole. And even after the recovery we kind of flat lined. That is history and can't be debated. I'd love to hear your view on what we did wrong.
