Nobody answered my question elsewhere, but these hospitals are not obliged to bypass the CDC are they!?
Apparently they are. So let's get this straight. The national government is not permitted to set up test centers to keep people from dying from COVID-19, because you know "states' rights," but it can shut down data so that people die. What the hell good are states' rights? Only for killing people?

I'm pretty sure none of us here are members of the Democratic Party. You are getting a bit emotional. I'm almost as sure no one here is a policy maker. I'm guessing the only one here who is a member of any party is Naughtius Maximus.
Another morning on the left coast trying to catch up. I thought “The OldMan and the Seethe” was about Trump.
Anyone who votes in a Democratic Primary and regularly donates money to Democrats exercises the same amount of party activity that an average member of the British Labour party. You just don't get the card. https://labour.org.uk/members/questions-about-joining/ And yes, of course I'm emotional. I'm watching Democrats become Trumpists while denouncing Trump for Trumpist things. It's my country too, I care about it a lot, and I'm watching it implode in real time from thousands of miles away, where I have no power to help. Anyone would be. Anyone not emotional over these mounting crises is a sociopath.

Then you are not showing any of the resilence necessary needed to keep up what is to be a continuing struggle. Do you think the problem will be over if Trump loses in November? Good thing for you that you are not AA.
I’m pretty sure the people demanding purity tests are acting a bit more Trumpy than the ones who have the capacity for discernment and differences. Spitballing: It’s like going to a punk rock bands’ show whose lyrics you like and demanding that they now put them only to music you like, like cafe indie or something. Or like if you’re an older millennial who wants to go hangout with a bunch of Gen X or older people at one of their parties. But they understand irony, and you get all mad because you don’t and you demand they speak with earnest condescension or else you’ll cancel them and kick them out of their house. Spitballin’
A few years ago, when Trump won the election, I made a joke about Trump and Ivanka and how it should be implied in the news. This was at a dinner with family friends. Several of them worked on congressional campaigns, another hosted Michigan's current Secretary of State which I was present for. The rest are involved in various liberal activist groups all over Michigan. Their reaction? They laughed, mentioned how creepy he is to his daughter, and then got to discussing what to do for 2018. I wouldn't have made the joke otherwise if Trump wasn't such a creepy person towards his daughter. Aside from the numerous comments, there's also the pictures, Noel Casler mentioning the lap dance and him also mentioning how she puts on a certain voice for her dad. So if I hear somewhere that Trump is doing stuff to Ivanka, I wouldn't be surprised. There's way too many allusions. If it makes you uncomfortable, I get it. It's off-putting for some and that's fine. However, you're acting like you're an arbiter. You're not. Nobody likes that guy.
I'm totally lost. Do you see promoting baseless conspiracies as necessary for "the struggle?" Or - as is more likely - would you like to read through this discussion first? That's a good point. There are people who volunteered to stop this bullshit from getting promoted on this forum, who have sadly decided to abdicate their responsibility. Maybe I'll take it up with one of them.
Where are you going with this, Brummie? Trump is an obvious creep. That doesn't mean he boinked Ivanka. Pretty sure everybody here understands that.
You mean except for the six posters -- Auria, ElJefe, dapip, Kazuma, Chad, and song219 -- who do believe that it happened.
I don't know if you're familiar with the concept of "humor" -- although you might spell it "humour" because your Brad Friedel-ing it right now -- but just because I'm making jokes about something doesn't mean I think that something actually happened.
