One upgrade that would be nice:

Let us see the times of posts from weeks/months/years ago. Right now, I can go back 2-3 years and see the day a post was made, but not the time.

@Janet H @soccernutter ... Is there an update about this...ahem...update? (Obscure Austin Powers reference, I suppose.)

Just curious - why do you need the time of the post?

I like that idea. I've had the same thought myself over the years. But frankly it's not as big a deal for me as a Tapatalk replacement. Though I now realize that's not likely to come.

Sometimes during live matchday threads, it'd be nice to see when the post happened in relation to what stage of the match it was, or more broadly what was going on at that time IRL. I think that's the main use that I've thought of, but I suppose there might be others. E.g. might be occasionally interesting to know if a reply was 1 minute after the quoted post, or 12 hours after?

p.s. Given the almost zero response we get from the admins, I suspect none of these feature requests will happen. It seems the best that we can hope for is that someone hidden in the background will just keep the lights on for BigSoccer. And if that happens, I'm OK living with things just the way they are.

We recently passed the anniversary of the tweet leaking the news that the Columbus Crew move to Austin was going to be announced the next day. It was leaked via Twitter by Grant Wahl the night before the official announcement was made and it would have been fun to see timestamps on those posts to see the exact time posts were made.

Regarding TapaTalk, I've never used it, but also have had zero issues ever using my phone's browser. But I'm also probably the weird outlier exception.

And yeah, you're right on with the matchday threads. Another example would have been the 9/11 thread, but it was lost in a crash a long time ago.

Regarding the admins, they've almost always been disappearing unless it was the very early years...like pre-2005. Maybe @dark knight or @soccernutter knows something. They seem to be more the public face of the admin side, whereas it seems @Janet H works for the company that owns the site. "Andy R" started a thread, but hasn't been seen in almost two years. I can't even tag that name.

I guess that would be nice. Time to the minute seems to be available for a week though. Do you really need more? Then watch the game.
Ok, mods, please do whatever you need to correct this injustice.
