I almost always get a good amount of sleep, I aim for 8-and-a-half hours each night. I dim lights, and often use melodies to ease me to sleep, it's just the night before a game, I have problems. I'm usually fine actually getting to sleep, it's just I almost always wake myself up t early (on accident), and then I can't get back to sleep because I'm too pumped for my match. I find it hard to switch off from football, especially if I have a game the next day.

What are you asking for? It happens to me too. I don't think it's a bad thing really, like already I'm so excited for my derby game next week and am not sleeping as well cos when I lie down my head's just buzzin.

Go out for a walk, watch TV, read a book. Do whatever, then try and get some more sleep. Just lying there won't work.

How to 'switch off' from football the night before, it's the only way Ill sleep properly, I don't think it's possible though.
