Man, it's sad watching Dwight Yorke these days. T&T doesn't have anyone better than that to throw out there? And what happened to Latapy in the last six months? He looks like he's wearing cement boots.

Pretty dreadful from both sides, Birchall's rocket notwithstanding. If they play like this, neither of these teams will even sniff a point in Germany.

 

Have to agree, that was a sad performance by both sides tonight. I wish T&T would have won. I hate, and I mean HATE, the stall tactics used at the end, the fake injuries, that is second rate play. Both sides had better pick it up more then a few notches next match. Also for the side that does advance, play like they did tonight in the WC and that 8-0 beating the Saudi's got in 02 will look good in comparison.

I have to say I am surprised by the play of T&T tonight. They are a much better side then they showed tonight. Maybe nerves overcame skill tonight.

 

Wow I guess I was wrong about Bahrain. So were a lot of other people. Well theres still 1 leg left to play so it's not over yet.

 

Trinidad better step up big time in Bahrain cuz dis is prob da closest they will get to da world cup in a while.

 

I don't think many were giving these two much chance to get a point in Germany. I was hoping T & T was gonna make it, but after this home performance, don't know if that's gonna happen.

 

They counter well, and they play a bunker style D, T&T just didn't work well in their attack, they are much better then what they showed tonight. They better bring an offense with them Wed if they want to advance. You can bet that Bahrain will put 10 men behind the ball all game long and stall with fake injuries. It is the style they play.

I have heard other AFC posters make this claim about them and until tonight I had not seen it. Now I have and they were correct. If Bahrain goes through, I would love for the US to draw them. That would be a 5-0 game easy.

 

Where were the Trinidad subs? Just one? Where was Cornell Glen?

Huh stop whining!! Fake injuries and lets suppose?! How many was it 1 or 2? That's less than 1 or 2 minutes. Sorry not an excuse for T&T to play lousy on their own field! I think T&T has many other problems to address before playing in Manama.

Ok boy, what whining is that? The player that stayed down for 3 mins then when the stretcher was called back on he popped right up and walked off, then the goalie with that pathetic performance with his calf? Poorly played. Sad excuse for players to act that way.

This isn't why the game ended in a draw, but that sort of play is uncalled for and is bad for the game.

 

rubbish!! CONCACAF only deserve 2 spots in WC and that's it. They should increase south America's spot or even Asia in the WC.

 

SO you didn't watch the match then otherwise you wouldn't be running off at the mouth. Asia already has 1 to many spots, and SA are fine with what they have. Europe should get the extra spot Asia has, and CONCACAF and Africa should play for the other.
