My contacts in Portugal are hearing from their associates in Spain that Messi May very well leave Barcelona at the end of the season. There seems to be substance behind the rumours. The Barcelona board view Trincao as the successor to Messi, he will likely inherited the number 10 shirt.

As a scout and youth coach, I can assure you that Trincao has great potential. It’s no coincidence that he sustained a dip in form once Amorim departed the coaching position. You can see how good he is with young players, sportings now are playing better with him as coach. I see a lot of myself in the way Ruben Amorim approaches the game.
I have a very good track record myself at rating youth and I do not rate him at all. You may have studied the game more than myself, but i have what is called natural instinct, and my instinct says Trincao to Monaco.
Even so, what’s wrong with going to Monaco? It’s a good club and many good players have developed there. I hate this mentality that every youth that doesn’t end up playing for Real Madrid, Barcelona, Or Manchester United, is a flop.
