mexico boys u-19s played dungannon swifts (semi-pro team from northern ireland in pre-season) last night in a warm up for the milk cup youth tournament.
the u-19s won in a close match.
    sorry, don't have the lineup.

the mexico u-19s played portadown tonight in another friendly.
your u-19s came back from 2-0 to draw 2-2, although portadown were missing 5/6 first team players and are only just back from a long trip to azerbijan for their europa qualifier.

Its basically the U17 from last year with Martin Galvan this time.

I wasn't impressed then by the looks of it they haven't gotten much better.

They play Northern Ireland in the Milk Cup on Monday and then they play Japan on Wednesday they play again on Friday in the Final, Third place match or 5th place match

Mexico U20 v. Uruguay U20 is on FSE right now.

Does anyone have the full roster list for this seleccion?

    Zamora/Cordero have been the standouts.

Mexico sub 20 playing a tournament in Paraguay. They're tied 1-1 with Uruguay right now.
It's almost the same team that won el torneo punta del este against brazil months back.

    sucks

I don't think its the generation so much as the coaching
how hard is it to ask these guys to change the point of attack? play simpler? reduce the number of 50/50 passes

they are losing just about every 1v1 battle today

regarding the comments I usually watch the games with volume off cuz the announcers bore me to sleep

man that was hopeless did they even have a shot on goal that didn't come from a free kick?

Hell did they even have a shot that didn't come from a free kick?

I thought the team in Northern Ireland was bad.

My bad that team is a lot

A lot better than this team.

If Argentina was stacked and had played good I would have thought it would have been a good result

But Argentina played like crap yet still dominated and should have won if they could finish. And like I said they played like crap.

Even both commentators were talking trash about both teams, I don't know about Argentina I'm sure they have some U-20s already in Europe though.

Luckily for us, we also have some U-20s playing in Europe right now in the Milk Cup and some that stayed with the club. But today it was hopeless, when you go 90 minutes without a shot during the run of play its hopeless.
