directiva. En la primera charla que tuve con Jaime (Ordiales) es que no fueran"-Robert Siboldi ¿Que opinan?— Jovenes Futbolistas MX (@Jovenesfutmx) January 31, 2020
Well Cufre said he wasn't going to send the players and now he's gone. Siboldi not doing too good and might be on thin ice so hopefully he'll watch it. Also I don't think it's a coincidence that both coaches that have complained are foreign. Hopefully the federation takes a stand because they had agreed in the owner's meeting that the Olympic team was going to be supported and if we have clubs refusing to release players, it might start a domino effect. It's not an easy task that Mexico has.
it's not gonna get any easier with the players Lozano insists on playing. It's no use to call up players like Alvarado and Gimenez if when the Qualifiers roll around we get Yrizar as a starter for four games with the likes of Marcel Ruiz coming off the bench for 5 minute cameos.
To be fair while his callups haven't been great, some of them have been because of Martino and the senior team. Players like Alvarado, Carlos Rodriguez, Montes etc have been constantly called up by Tata and thus get priority. I remember the first time (and only) time Rodriguez was called up to camp, he only did 2 days before Martino called him up for the Nations league because of injuries. I though Martino and Lozano would work together but I haven't seen it much. I think Alvarado is a guarantee starter if he's available.
🚨¡DE ÚLTIMO MOMENTO!🚨Benjamin Galdames(18) es convocado con la selección mexicana sub-20 para un miniciclo, de cara al Premundial sub-20. Jaime Lozano has called up 24 players to a mini camp next week in preparation for the COQ in a month. This is the 3rd mini camp that the U23 team has had since the start of the new year. Good to see Liga MX teams allowing really important players to join up with the team. pic.twitter.com/lEedal4DRd— MexNexGen (@MexNexGen2) February 21, 2020 Needs more Sebastián Jurado.
The return legs of the CONCACAF Champions League are this week which is why Jurado, Alvarado or Sebastian Cordova weren't called.

Good list, although I find surprising that Atlas's Jesús Angulo isn't being contemplated since he's been one of the better young Mexican full-backs of the last few years.

Mexico men’s U-23 coach Jaime Lozano in a press conference confirming the idea is to get the squad together in November and then hold a couple of midweek camps in Jan and Feb in preparation for the probable Olympic qualifying in March in GDL. #eltrieng— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) October 11, 2020 - On JJ Macias: He has really good chemistry with this national team. We have good dialogue. A little impatient, he’s a goal-scorer and he’d like to be on the score-sheet more, not just with the national team but also with Chivas- Hoping for a friendly in November.— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) October 11, 2020
