The Mexican U-17 women's squad qualified for the World Cup today after beating Canada 2-1 in extra time. This was a semifinal game and Mexico will play the U.S. in the final on Sunday. This will be Mexico's seventh straight U-17 World Cup. Sunday's game will determine who is the Concacaf champion but regardless of who wins, both teams are headed to the World Cup.
