For those looking for some good news in these trying days, I'm only a couple weeks away from being finished with this: There will be a cast and crew premiere screening in November. Whatever available seats are left will be given to Galaxy BigSoccer faithful, if anyone is interested. I promise it'll be more entertaining than our defense has been this season....
Exactly. It’s a long shot but I’ve already submitted to Sundance as a work-in-progress. I will wait to submit to more until the film is complete. As to which festivals to apply to— I will also be working on creating a calendar of film festivals across the country that line up with Galaxy road games for 2019.....
The cast and crew and friends premiere screening is this Friday in Hollywood. I might have some extra seats, depending on final RSVP tallies. If you and a guest are interested in attending, PM me and I'll keep in touch.
Congrats! I loved Pope Dreams. I still think about it. Really good movie. Looking forward to this one!
Saw the promo poster for "Virtually." - very sharp. The film is credited to P. Patrick Hogan. I assume the "P" stand for Phineas
I've had to add a second screening tomorrow evening. So there are several open seats if anyone wants to go. I can confirm that a former Galaxy player and the most famous person on the BigSoccer Galaxy forum have RSVP'ed....
The screening went very well. Several BigSoccer faithful had to cancel because of the fire and life's surprises, but thank you to Dr. Phil and his lovely girlfriend for attending, I hope you enjoyed it, Dr Phil. I also have a picture of you sitting and talking with Bryan Jordan, so PM me an email address if you want the pic. I also enjoyed watching Dr. Phil's girlfriend's eyes glaze over as he started talking soccer with Bryan. I'm sure most of us have seen our significant others adopt the exact same expression more than once....
We had a blast. Trick had wine and o'douvers. I have firends that use to work at Paramount studios so I have been up there to watch movies in their theater which is huge. This was a treat to be in the Technicolor building and to watch it where some of the magic happens. Bryan Jordan was there. Hes very nice and was cool enough to chat. He has a new project with Edson Buddle coming. Where they hope to mentor and guide kids to prep them to being pro's. Its a cool short film thats beautifully shot and has a great score. If you are into Sci-Fi and the subject of virtual reality and how it will effect humans then you will like this. Thanks @TrickHog for the experience!
Here's an interview with our own Trickhog. Remember, we knew him when.... http://www.scifipulse.net/patrick-h...lmmaking-and-his-recent-short-film-virtually/
