What happened to these guys? Not that I'm complaining - Im glad I dont have the megaphone guy yelling TFC we want a goal in my ear, but they seemed to have come and gone. Any idea or has TFC pulled their funding/free tickets.
They were a non-issue before and are still and always will be a non-issue. I mean, really... who cares what happened to them? If they're gone, it's like the Toronto Shooting Stars' existence: They were f**king here?
Wait... Are you saying that they're no longer in 118??? Alright! Thank god... I haven't been to a game yet but whenever I do go I'm near there and with my first game coming up, this is the best news I've heard
I've been to both games this year and they were there for both. They just didn't seem as loud, must be because of the wind numbing the sound.
They don't add to the atmosphere and the noise they make has nothing to do with anything taking place on the field. All they do is disrupt any chants that might get going in sec 118 and detract from the experience at the game.
I'm now far enough away from them that they are totally unnoticeable. Should park these "folks" in the upper corner of the away supporter's section.
I also heard that they were going to concentrate on becoming a 'true' supporters club and by that I mean actually have chants, tifo, and become more of a presence in the stands than just a bunch of guys banging on drums.
Yeah, suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure they are. If they were gonna do that, they should have done it from day one.
That's the scuttlebutt I heard. They wanted to show off their musical skills and support TFC at the same time but I think there have been more complaints about the non spot music. Plus, our supporters groups have expanded westward towards their spot so their musical talents were starting to get drown out by the chanting anyway. I guess it is one of those situations of wait and see if they become a legit supporters group.
Yeah, I guess it is a wait-and-see deal there, but given all the negativity towards them, it might be too late for them. But then again, stranger things have happened...
